Today's task it to make the commitment and let everyone know about it. At the start of preseason I announce on Facebook that I had joined Michelle's 12 wbt and today I am going to write my commitment statement.
I commit to following the program to the letter and to do whatever it takes to reach my goals.
I commit to getting to my goal weight of 65kg no matter what even if I don't get there by the end of round to keep going till I do.
I commit to becoming a woman of my work and sharing my journey with family and friends, and to blog my journey honestly.
I commit to learning to live a healthier life and to become the best version of myself.

Mt Lofty
Well what a great morning I have been on the Adelaide 12wbt forum and as I said yesterday I agreed to do a lofty walk with Kara and Laura so layed out all my clothes last night so I had no excuses set the alarm for 5:45am and went to be excited and nervous. I have only done lofty 2 other times and my first wasn't a pleasant experience ended having my first every ambulance ride. So to say I was freaking out was an understatement. I woke up and could've gone back to sleep but as I had arrange to go with others I got up and got ready. The weather was perfect for me not too hot. Kara was great really friendly as soon as we started off I was already struggling just after passing the first waterfall and it all came back to me how hard it was. But with the support of Laura and Kara I went on. Laura and Kara's friend went ahead and the bubbly Kara stayed and pushed me on, it was great having someone by your side and to my surprise I made in up in my new PB time of 1 hr 1 min which was a huge shock. So here is the photo from the top as you can see I get a little red faced when I exercise lol
So I finished up burning a massive 1209 calories all before 10am.

Getting Organised
As I am on holidays I have the time to get myself organised ready for the start of round 1 of 12wbt. I have spent the last week getting together some bits and pieces to help me along the way some I already had and just need to dust off other I bought.
- Heart rate monitor Polar FT60
- New workout top
- Sneakers
- Ipod
- My fitness Pal app
- Run keeper app
- Herb Garden
- Diary
- Spelt belt
- Michelle's pack 3 DVD
- Crunch time Cookbook
- Fit ball
- Cross trainer
I have also been putting together some folders for menu planning, shopping lists, recipes, motivation quota and also printed off my before photos and stuck them into my diary.
As today in Adelaide was a crazy 39 I decided I will be exercising later tonight when the kids are in bed out in my sweat shed as i call it on my cross trainer I am aiming to get to the 500cal so it usually takes me around 1 hour.
I have joined the Adelaide 12wbt page on face book and have organised to meet up with a couple of others tomorrow morning to do Mt lofty so looking forward to getting out there as I haven't done it in so long.

Preseaon Task 1
Well today's the day was very excited to start preseason. Went to the gym for a RPM class make no excuses had to leave early so hubby could get to work as he had the kids, its amazing if you really want to do something how you manage to fit it in and managed to burn 492Kcal. So got home and jumped on the the forum and did the first task TASK 1 - INTRODUCE YOURSELF - well this is what I wrote on the forum
Hi My name is Lee-Anne and I live in Cherry Gardens in Adelaide. I am 35 years old and have 2 children 8 yrs and 6 yrs I have been over weight for the last 12 years. I work 2 days as a chef and I have joined weight watchers too many times to count but have never got to goal in 2010 I joined a gym and lost 18 kg which I have kept off spent 2011 hovering around the same weight so decided I need to make 2012 the year to get to goal and make a lifestyle change. I have 20kg to goal and cant wait to get there and live the life I have been missing out. I am determined to push through all the pain and mind games and be able to wear the clothes I want to wear and eat healthy and in moderation. I have a supportive husband who is very healthy and has put up with me stuffing around trying new diets I want to be able to exercise with him and enjoy it my is to go mountain bike riding with him.
I wish everyone all the best for round 1 and I look forward to meeting a few Adelaide people over the 12 weeks

The night before Michelle Bridges12 wbt preseason starts
Well I have been registered to start the 12 wbt since before christmas so has spent the last couple of weeks searching the net for information on what happens and what is expected in the 12 wbt. I did look at doing round 3 in 2011 but ended up having to spend 9 day in hospital and having to have 2 operations to remove my gallbladder. So in 2012 nothing is going to stop me. I have spent most of my adult life trying diets I would have to admit I have joined weight watchers 6 times and have never got to goal. I have over the last 2 years managed to lose 20kg but I still have 20kg to go so decided Michelle Bridges program is for me. I have been preparing by purchasing and following Crunchtime since the 9th Jan losing 2.3kg last week and sticking to burn 5 x 500cal and one sss 1000cal day. I have also purchased michelles dvd and planted out a herb garden.
I feel I am prepare to make 2012 the year I get to goal and make a change to finally do something that I should've done along time ago. So looking forward to the start of preseason tomorrow and know that I will success in this part of my life because its going to be a part of my life that I am going to embrace and am lucky enough to have a friend who is also coming along to also get to her goal and help keep me on track.
